Video doorbell another account

My husband loves LSC smart connect, today he bought a doorbell, but when I try to turn on the device, it turns out that someone has already assigned it to another account. The box was open but we didn’t think it had been used. Can anything be done about it? Help

Have you tried resetting it? This should normally solve the problem. You can do this by pressing and holding the reset button on the doorbell (for 10-15 seconds).

Yes , I tried resetting. the message keeps appearing - the device has been assigned to a different account.
